If you were directed to this page after being disconnected from DareNET, it's likely an open proxy was found on your IP address.
Why don't you allow open proxies?
Misconifgured proxies are commonly used to attack, annoy, and cause disruptions to channels and the network itself. This is why we don't allow them to protect our users from those who seek to abuse such proxies.
How can I fix this?
Due to the many different types of proxy software, we recommend you consult your software's manual for instructions on properly configuring it. You will need to ensure that your proxy is configured to only allow the IP addresses within your network to access it. Proxies that don't allow external access are considered "secure" and can be used to connect to DareNET.
I'm not using proxy software, but I'm still being disconnected. What can I do?
Your system is likely infected by a trojan or virus. We recommend you perform an full virus or malware scan with up-to-date definitions.
When can I reconnect?
Your ban should expire after 30 minutes to an hour. If you have correctly configured your proxy, you'll be able to reconnect to DareNET once the ban has expired. If it's still misconfigured, you will be banned again. These types of bans are automated and are not eligible for early removal.
